well vesty I must confess to be a avid meat eater although I subscribe to the humane side of slaughter, but you really put me on the spot looking at those videos,I felt a lot of pity for those wretched animals, it really made me feel sick.

Farmers in NSW Australia battling the worst drought on record are being forced to sell sheep for just 50 cents a head to reduce flocks (herds)because of a lack of feed, the same animals a month ago were selling for $20.00, younger stock are down from $40.00 to $10.00.
One farmer booked in for the abattoir shortly, said they would not give him a price,as they are losing value every day.
The fourth-generation farmer said conditions were the worst he had seen.

animals eat veggies (grass)

veggies feed on the nitrients generated by dead animals in the soil


plants also feel pain

I am sorry to say this blog will soon have its final post, this post may be my last.  I would like to say "Thank You" to all of you nice people with whom I have been in blog contact over the past sixteen years. Unfortunately, my health issues have become worse over the past two weeks, my mobility is at its lowest point; and I become dizzy after a couple of paces, I am using oxygen permanently. It feels like I  am falling apart; I have Kidney - Heart - Lung and Bladder problems, plus many other add ons to stir the mix. I am still living? at home, where I have a comfortable environment and the necessary assistance,. I do not sleep well; probably due to loss of body activity.  My eldest son Christopher will be the person to inform you of my final time on earth.  I need to lay down for a while right now.
