If you wish to live or die by your archaic dis proven laws; so be it, however,don't force them down other people's throats.

BTW, Why don't you try to discover how Atheists or in my case Infidels, give good values to their progeny.

Values differ between the host of religious denominations, that is why there is so much conflict when one sect pits its wits against other sects, lies battling lies.

Common courtesy is the required median. a set of international guidelines acceptable to all without interference from sectarianism.

If you need people to be convinced of your cause, it helps to have a charismatic representative like Jimmy Bakker(jailed for fraud)or a Bomb chucking-loud mouthed Ian Paisley, or would you go for the Mega dollar earning Billy Graham.
Unfortunately,as is often the case,it's a fine line between charisma and the Skipper of the U/S Flog yer plonker.
Take Scientology for example, here's a religion that has extraterrestrial beings,silent childbirth and a relatively casual attitude to mental illness as part of it's basic manifesto written by 'Old mother Hubbard' R L himself.
No problem get some celebs on board to let people know that Scientology is mega-awesome and they will come in wallet-waving droves,. That is,as long as people don't mind the occasionally-raving Tom Cruise spruiking their wares, a
man I wouldn't trust to flog me oxygen without unnecessary hyperbole.

AUSTRALIAN LOVE STORY

Bruce lay dying in his bed. While suffering the agonies of impending death,
he suddenly smelled the aroma of his favourite pumpkin scones wafting up the stairs.

He gathered his remaining strength, and lifted himself from the bed.

Leaning on the wall, he slowly made his way out of the bedroom,
and with even greater effort, gripping the railing with both hands,
he crawled downstairs.

With laboured breath, he leaned against the door-frame, gazing into the kitchen.

Were it not for death's agony, he would have thought himself already in heaven,
for there, spread out upon the kitchen table were literally hundreds of his favourite scones.

Was it heaven? Or was it one final act of love from his devoted wife Jane of sixty years,
seeing to it that he left this world a happy man?

Mustering one great final effort, Bruce threw himself towards the table,
landing on his knees in rumpled posture.
His aged and withered hand trembled towards a scone at the edge of the table,
when it was suddenly smacked by his wife with a wooden spoon.

"Bugger off!" she said,
"They're for the funeral”

I am sorry to say this blog will soon have its final post, this post may be my last.  I would like to say "Thank You" to all of you nice people with whom I have been in blog contact over the past sixteen years. Unfortunately, my health issues have become worse over the past two weeks, my mobility is at its lowest point; and I become dizzy after a couple of paces, I am using oxygen permanently. It feels like I  am falling apart; I have Kidney - Heart - Lung and Bladder problems, plus many other add ons to stir the mix. I am still living? at home, where I have a comfortable environment and the necessary assistance,. I do not sleep well; probably due to loss of body activity.  My eldest son Christopher will be the person to inform you of my final time on earth.  I need to lay down for a while right now.
