My words for Wednesday

While I am waiting for the recovery of WORDS  from a blog far afield, I shall post those of my choice - chosen at random , simply for my own amusement being I am at a loose end today, Fifteen words from a hat six drawn by my wife of 63 years; Rosemary who has dementia..
 REJECTIONS.
WRONG.
TEDIOUS.
BETTER.
FACT.
DIDN"T.

Wow these are hard to digest, fortunately my wife has gone to her Club? today for a few hours, so my mind will be able to concentrate, so after a few stumbles here we go.

     The first time I sent a book out and I got all these (REJECTIONS) I said to myself, Well, they (DIDN'T) even read it. The (FACT). of the matter is that you did something wrong, You need to find out what it is. Either the way you packaged it and presented it to the publisher was wrong, or you chose the (WRONG) publisher.. Your writing was (TEDIOUS). your writing was unprofessional and your manuscript was sloppy You (DIDN"T know the market. You know you did something wrong with that book. You need to go back and you need to throw that book away. you need to find out what it is that you need to learn how to do (BETTER).
Many of life's failures are people who did not realise how close they were to success when they gave up.

This is a great use of the words which Rosemary chose for you. And indeed success can be only a heartbeat away from failure.

that's an interesting take on those words, while I was writing them down I had similar thoughts. Now I have to think of something else...
But never throw away that first book. It may be full of ideas that can be used in other book.

E C. Most of the conversation I have with Rosemary falls on deaf ears, her attention disorder is becoming worse, yet she is still loving in her manners, and has that awfully English politeness.

The Last Post

I am sorry to say this blog will soon have its final post, this post may be my last.  I would like to say "Thank You" to all of you nice people with whom I have been in blog contact over the past sixteen years. Unfortunately, my health issues have become worse over the past two weeks, my mobility is at its lowest point; and I become dizzy after a couple of paces, I am using oxygen permanently. It feels like I  am falling apart; I have Kidney - Heart - Lung and Bladder problems, plus many other add ons to stir the mix. I am still living? at home, where I have a comfortable environment and the necessary assistance,. I do not sleep well; probably due to loss of body activity.  My eldest son Christopher will be the person to inform you of my final time on earth.  I need to lay down for a while right now.
